ARE YOU INTERESTED IN TEACHING PART-TIME?

Yukon College is looking for qualified person(s), on a casual/sessional basis, to teach in the following program areas:

• Adult Basic Education instruction in subjects from 020- 060 level including Math, English, Computers, and Science (high school equivalent).
• Daytime and/or evening student instruction and curriculum support for lecture-based and self-study Math, English, Science, and ESL courses (020 – 060 level courses)
• Course advising within College Access Pathways (recommend assessments, interpret assessment scores for placement within 020-060 courses, refer to other YC programs and student supports)

The ideal candidate will have a Masters degree in the relevant subject area and previous experience instructing adults in a post-secondary education environment. A combination of related education and experience will also be considered. We want to hear from you if you have the relevant education and are excited about teaching in an active, learner-centred environment as part of a dynamic team. This inventory is maintained on a continual basis and resumes will be retained for up to 8 months.
