Are you Interested in Research?
Working on literature reviews and background research for a water resource co-management project with Champagne and Aishihik First Nations, the Yukon Research Centre and University of Saskatchewan. Participating in project meetings and mentorship opportunities.
One student will work on reviewing water management strategies and approaches, and the other will research natural resource management approaches using Traditional Knowledge. Both students will be mentored by project researchers and participate as members of the project team.
- Must be currently registered as a student at Yukon College
- Ability to work independently and take direction as needed
- Previous experience working in or with a Yukon First Nation community will be considered an asset
- Experience with research projects will be considered an asset
