Reporting to the Associate Registrar, and working directly with the Community campuses of Yukon College, this position utilizes a computerized Student Information System (SIS) to admit community campus students to programs; to register and collect fees from community campus students registering in courses; to enter biographical data and to provide a variety of reports and documentation to community campus students and Yukon College Community Education and Development staff.  The position also has responsibility to respond to requests for service and information on College programs and courses, to provide ongoing data base maintenance, to update functional tables in the SIS and when operational duties allow, to provide service backup in the absence of colleagues.  In addition, the position will be responsible for traveling to Yukon communities regularly to support campus staff with admissions processes.

The successful candidate will have a post-secondary certificate, diploma or degree, or equivalent, combined with strong knowledge of Banner, MS Access, Excel and Word.  Knowledge of basic accounting and accounts receivable required.  Demonstrated experience in providing exceptional customer service both in person and over the phone, along with the ability to assess situations quickly to best assist students.  Must have experience in CRN creation and community campus course offerings.  Must be willing and able to travel regularly to Yukon Communities, and hold a valid class 5 driver’s license.
