THIS COMPETITION IS OPEN TO EXISTING STAFF AT YUKON COLLEGE ONLY
The International Office in the Office of the Registrar offers a range of specialized non-degree courses to meet the needs of specific groups of international students. International has a long history of offering intermediate and multi-level English as a Second Language programs.
The successful incumbent will be responsible for providing academic leadership, and teaching students. You will also be developing an effective learning environment for students that respects all individual learning styles as well as the diverse cultural backgrounds. Beyond the classroom, you will advising and engaging students as well as participating in student centered events.
The ideal applicant will have a related degree and teaching experience combined with certification in TESL/TESOL.
Completion of a Master’s degree will be considered an asset.
