Reporting to the Chair, School of Business and Leadership and working with the Department Head, School of Community Education and Development (SCED), Northern region, and faculty in the School of Business & Leadership, these positions are responsible for planning, organizing, coordinating and instructing courses in the Office Administration program. Courses may include: bookkeeping/ accounting, business math, computer literacy, and Microsoft application courses (Excel, Access. PowerPoint and Word). This program prepares students for entry-level positions as administrative assistants.

The ideal candidate will possess a post-secondary degree/certification in a relevant discipline and teaching experience, preferably in an adult education environment, with experience in project management, developing and coordinating educational/training programs at the adult basic education level. Knowledge of distance learning methodologies and technologies and willingness to use and stay current is required. Candidates will also have: up-to date experience with business practices, office procedures, current business software, experience or coursework in bookkeeping/ accounting and strong computer skills, including working knowledge of current Windows and Microsoft Office applications.

Consideration will be given to those with an appropriate blend of education and experience.
