Hours of work: 4:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m. (plus shift premium)
Salary: $50,224 to $59,792 per annum

THIS COMPETITION IS OPEN TO YUKON COLLEGE STAFF ONLY

Working with a student focused team you will be performing custodial work, minor building maintenance and repair functions.

Duties:
• Providing a clean, hygienic, safe working and learning environment;
• Preparing areas for classes, events, meetings, etc.;
• Fixing, preparing, moving furniture and minor building support;
• Collecting and participating in sustatinability initiatives including waste management;
• Performing and documenting routine inspection and maintenance activities;

Requirements:
• Demonstrated ability to be a team player;
• Must be able to move furniture and heavy items;
• Ability to do physically demanding work;
• Previous custodial experience;
• Proven customer service-focus;
• Experience operating floor buffers and custodial equipment;
• Experience using hand and power tools for minor repair and/or maintenance
• Experience operating various equipment (forklift/mini loader)
• Thorough knowledge of proper safety procedures

Criminal and Vulnerable Sector (VS) Record checks are required to be eligible for this positon.
