Dream of running your own restaurant? Take a test drive in ours. With this certificate program, students gain knowledge and skills in marketing, business communications and leadership for a successful food service career. Through hands-on work in Yukon College’s fine dinging training facility, the Hilltop Bistro, students have the opportunity to practice in a safe, yet very real, working environment.
Courses include Introductory Accounting, Food Production Principles, and Leadership and Management. Students who complete both the Food and Beverage Operations and the Culinary Arts certificates are eligible to apply for the Restaurant Operations diploma.
