Yukon First Nation governments need skilled and knowledgeable employees. From computer skills to accounting to program management and development, the program is made up of short, practical courses for today’s First Nations government workers.
The courses will be of interest to First Nations Government employees in departments that offer community programs and services, in areas including education, employment and training, economic development, and justice.
The program, a collaborative effort between Yukon First Nation governments and Yukon College, offers flexibility about how and when students may take the courses. These include Time Management, Analyzing Client Training Needs, Knowledge of Contracts and Agreements, and Problem Solving and Conflict Management.
