Today’s public and non-profit administrators work in a complex, demanding world. The Master of Public Administration (MPA) is a professional degree that prepares you for leadership at all levels of government and in non-profit organizations. The program, offered through the University of Alaska Southeast, teaches you to effectively deal with the economic, political, legal and social issues facing today’s public managers.
It will provide you with a strong interdisciplinary context in which to pursue the study of policy formation, implementation, and administration. Two options for concentrations are offered in the MPA degree: Rural development and Natural Resource Policy.
The live-streamed, online courses include Law for Public Managers, Research Methods in Administration, and Economics of Public Policy.
