WO 050 - Climate Change Impact on Water and Wastewater Infrastructures

This 1 day course is designed to raise the participants’ awareness on climate change and its impacts on water and wastewater infrastructures at design, operation and maintenance levels.

Starting by understanding what is called climate change, the course will focus on mitigation and adaptation measures that can be adopted to reduce the risk, to have a well prepared system and to find opportunities in the challenges to come.

This course is especially recommended for water & wastewater operators and is relevant to health professionals, supervisors, technicians and homeowners involved and/or interested in water and health & safety.
