CARP 120 - Math for Carpenters

In this course, students will reinforce their understanding of basic math concepts useful in the carpentry trade, including converting between metric and imperial systems of measurement and performing calculations frequently used in the trade. Students will apply math concepts such as the Pythagorean Theorem, fractions, ratios, and percentages in carpentry-related examples. This course teaches the math concepts that are part of the requirements for the Carpentry Apprenticeship Level 1. (Requires 70% grade to pass and challenge Level 1)
