ESL 030 - Intermediate English as a Second Language

This course has two main objectives: first, it is intended to prepare students for English for academic purposes by developing reading, writing, presentation, and critical thinking skills. Second, students will develop outcomes such as grammar and conversation skills in order to improve their confidence and fluency with English as a second language. In recognition of the unique cultural environment of Yukon, culturally-inclusive and northern-focused content will be included whenever appropriate.
Prerequisite(s): CLBPT 6, or IETLS 5.
